Loch Lomond from BC Garn is a woollen spun yarn, which means that it has a nice volume and at the same time a great yardage. It will knit up into lovely light but warm garments and accessories. We particularly love the colourful tweedy neps in this yarn, and have ten complementary shades which are perfect for colourwork.
The raw wool for Loch Lomond comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. It is spun and dyed in Turkey.

About BC Garn
BC Garn was founded in Denmark in 1972 as a family company by Bo Carstensen. He must have absorbed the passion for yarns from when he was very little, because his mother was a weaver and his father was a rug wool trader. Her mother had already started having her own yarns produced for her as she could not the kinds of yarns and colors she needed for her projects.
Since 2018, BC Garn has been based in Germany and owned by Britta and Carsten Kremke. Britta has knitted since she was 8 years old (in her mother's yarn store) and at the age of 21 she was Germany’s youngest yarn store owner. Her husband has a degree in business engineering and works as a marketing consultant. BC Garn continues to develop a number of hand and machine knitting yarns that are always made of natural fibres, often organic and partly GOTS certified.
