The Watch Cap is knitted in the round from the brim to the top of the head. It is knit in 1x1 rib throughout so you can fold the brim as wide or as narrow as you want, or even fold it over twice. The crown is shaped using decreases which are spaced evenly to create a star or spiral effect, and once you have decreased right down, the remaining stitches are sewn together, so no cast off is required.
